Some wedding days stay with you because of the atmosphere they create. Amanda and Dave's was one of those days, emotional from the very beginning, beautifully calm in places, and full of genuine celebration by the end.

Set entirely at Worsley Court House, their wedding unfolded naturally, allowing space for real reactions, meaningful moments, and a celebration that felt completely authentic to who they are.

The day began with one of the most touching moments I’ve witnessed while filming. Amanda shared her dress reveal first with her step dad and dad, both overcome with emotion. Seeing their reactions quickly brought Amanda and her mum to tears too, setting the tone for a day led by feeling rather than formality.

These quiet, emotional moments in the morning often become some of the most powerful parts of a wedding film, unguarded, real, and impossible to recreate.

Meanwhile, Dave was calm and quietly focused, getting ready in his Viking attire. There was a steady, grounded energy about him, clearly trying to keep the nerves at bay while taking in the significance of what the day meant.

After the ceremony, guests naturally gravitated towards the bar, giving us the perfect window to step away for portraits. Alongside photographer Daniel Chandler, we found a beautiful canal location just around the corner from the venue.

The setting was calm, tucked away, and full of character, ideal for relaxed bride and groom portraits and family photos. We finished just in time, moments later the rain began to fall, making it feel like we’d captured something fleeting and special.

Back at the Court House, guests were treated to a beautiful three course meal, with the room buzzing with conversation, laughter, and the relaxed energy that had carried through the day.

As evening arrived, the celebration really came alive. Drinks flowed, the photo booth stayed busy, sweets were enjoyed, and a live band filled the space with some of Dave and Amanda’s favourite music. Before long, the dance floor was full, with guests singing and dancing together well into the night.

One of the most memorable moments of the evening came with a beautiful final dance between Amanda and her dad. It was emotional, quiet in comparison to the rest of the night, and a perfect way to close such a meaningful day.

These are the moments couples often don’t realise will mean the most until they see them again on film, simple, heartfelt, and full of love.
